National Diploma in Agriculture (Examined by UBTEB)
Admission requirements: The Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (“A” Level) with a score of at least 1 principal pass in essential Biology, Chemistry, or Agriculture and 2 subsidiary passes in either the relevant subject of Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Food and Nutrition. A pass in the desirable subjects (sub mathematics, general paper and computer studies) is an added advantage.
Duration: 2 years.
Career prospects: Researcher, Production Manager, Project Manager, Extension Worker, Start own Project/Business.
