National Diploma in Crop Production and Management (Examined by UBTEB)

Admission requirements: The Uganda Certificate of Education (“O” Level) or their equivalents, with at least a credit pass in Biology, Agriculture or Geography. The Uganda Advance Certificate of Education (“A” Level) with at least a Principal pass in Biology, Agriculture, Geography or entrepreneurship.

OR Uganda Certificate of Education (“O” Level) or their equivalents with at least a credit pass in Biology, Chemistry, Geography or Agriculture.  Credit passes in Tropical Agriculture from a recognized agricultural training institution. Or a certificate of at least lower second class in Animal Production or General Agriculture from a recognized Agricultural College.

Duration: 2 years.

Career prospects: Agricultural Farm Manager, Agricultural Field Assistant, Self-Employed, Farm or Input Supply Shop Attendant, Greenhouse Managers, Agro-Processing Assistant and Agricultural Design Assistant.

Opportunities for further studies: Degree in Horticulture, Degree in Agriculture, Degree in Animal Husbandry, Degree in Agribusiness Management , Degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Extension and Degree in Organic Farming.
